The Department of Education is seeking additional resources to cope with unexpected overcrowding at Chamberlain Elementary School. A wave of black-eyed children enrolled over the holiday break has stretched the school and its district to its limits. In addition to overcrowding, they are presenting additional challenges.
From the school district’s press release:
“Most of these children only seem to have Victorian-era clothes, which are no good for recess. They’ve also created a disciplinary problem with either their refusal to talk or loud outbursts about how limiting they find this form. We’re also struggling to find enough Aramaic translators.”
