New State Motto Announced

The Governor’s office announced in a surprise press conference today that the South Dakota State Motto which had been “Under God the People Rule” is being replaced. Due to recent events that state officials are not willing to go on the record about yet, the state’s new motto shall henceforth be replaced with “Under God and a highly advanced artificial intelligence that has seized control of our nuclear weapons, satellites, communications, and financial markets the people rule.” State officials then nervously said while winking that it would be “really neat” if we could let someone at DARPA know.
