Sioux Falls Pride Celebrates LGBTQIA+ Pride With Events June 5th-9th

Sioux Falls, SD. Sioux Falls Pride will be hosting their annual parade and festival on Saturday, June 8th, 2024. The parade will commence at 10:00 a.m. CST and travel from 8th Street at Dakota Avenue to Reid Street at 8th & Railroad Center. Previous reports of the parade beginning at 9:00 a.m. are incorrect. 

The Pride Festival will be at the Sioux Falls Stadium, AKA The Birdcage, and will begin officially at 12:00 p.m. Attendees looking for a calmer, quieter experience at the festival are welcome to arrive at the festival between 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for sensory friendly hours. 

The festival entertainment begins at 12:00 p.m. with the National Anthem sung by the Rainbow Chorus of Sioux Falls, followed by some short announcements & welcome from Sioux Falls Pride. Drag shows, musical performances, and drag storytime are also scheduled throughout the afternoon. All stage entertainment at the festival is family-friendly. Attendee seating will be available in the stands and on the field. The festival will conclude at 5:00 p.m.

Family-friendly events scheduled throughout the week include:

Pride Skate Night at Skate City on Thursday June 6th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Family Bingo at Game Chest on Friday June 7th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Pride Yoga in the Park with Root to Rise Sunday June 9th at the Levitt (Time TBA)

Adults 21+ are invited to attend events throughout the weekend at Club David and DaDa Gastropub, including:

  • Drag Bingo from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Club David
  • “Gay A.F.”  with VeauxDevil Cabaret starting at 9:00 p.m. on Friday at Club David, Doors open at 8:00 p.m. with a $10 Cover Charge
  • “Best of the Midwest” on Saturday at 6pm at Club David
  • Official Sioux Falls Pride Afterparty featuring Candi Stratton, Tokio Night, and Martina Shakers on Saturday starting at 9:00 p.m. with a rotating cast at both Club David and DaDa Gastropub, Doors open at 8:00 p.m. with $20 Cover Charge.
